In November 2015, NTHUs College of Technology Management (CTM) received the AACSB Accreditation, an honor received by only five percent of business schools worldwide. NTHU is the first school in Taiwan to receive AACSB accreditation since its new standards were introduced in 2013. Founded in 1916, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is internationally recognized as the premier accreditation association for business schools.

To date, the AACSB has accredited more than 870 business schools in 56 countries and territories. Thus AACSB accreditation is a major honor and a clear affirmation of NTHUs commitment to pursuing academic excellence.

NTHU joined AACSB as a business member in 2010 and received the accreditation after a process of several phases of review and evaluation. The evaluation report issued by the AACSB included a glowing appraisal of both the faculty and students in College of Technology Management, as well as its cooperative relationship with the Industrial Technology Research Institute.

In his statement following CTM’s accreditation , AACSB Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer Robert D. Reid welcomed the College of Technology Management into the top echelon of business schools worldwide, and also acknowledged the important contributions of the colleges dean, directors, faculty, and students.
